Planning to land in toronto inthe second week of August with two children&wife.Is it possible to hire basement apartment through one of my friend before landing,so that we can stay without spending money for lodges&motels.

I am moving the thread to proper cateory.

We have classifieds section and there are many basement apartments for rent listed. You can contact them and propbably someone might be ready to give it to you, before landing.

There are many members on this board who have done that.

For basement, I prefer to be checked by you before you rent it. There are all sorts of basement and not most people like all of them!
