Hi guys,

I want to know how long can we stay outside canada without loosing PR status.

I m in canada right now and i intend to go out of country doing job in another country for about 3-5 years will my PR status be valid after that?

I have been staying here for more than 2 years now and unfortunatly i m unable to stay till my citizenship, so how to work out..please advise.

If you have stayed 2 out of 5 years in canada , then you could stay out for 3 years (theoritically) but you may have a lot of explanation to do when you are coming in after 3 years to justify your intentions to live in canada (there are no guarantees)

If I were you , I would wait for my citizenship and then leave ... Your clock will restart from zero when (if) you come back after 3 years to canada .
