Bhavli,
I'd appreciate it if you EDIT your post and rename the title to something more meaningful instead of "thanks for reply".
Also, if you are writing in connection to a previous post, please do not start a new thread, instead continue in that thread. You can do this by opening the thread for viewing and clicking NEW REPLY button.
Thanks.

ANY HELP FROM YOU WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED
BL can you transfer this thread to the Education part of this forum ?
I will answer your question. Your acad record is on the low side. This means you can get "admission" but you have to compete with a few good men & women.
That's 'cos there is a rush of students here in the Universities (at least in Comp. Sci. / Comp. Eng..) to finish their grad studies (Masters, Ph.d) due to the job market bust.
Do you have any papers presented at any symposium's , conferences etc,. ? That may boost your chances to get admission.
Re. Financial aid, you will be at a disadvantage. If you want to come here and just do a course based DEgree (otherwise known as M.Eng/equiv to ME, M.Tech in India) then you do not get any financial aid. However if you register for the longer version of the degree (known as M.A.SC, or M.Sc (Engg) ) then you have a chance to get some aid. I doubt if you can get a full tution fee waiver (like US universities).
