Hi,

Happy to inform that we got the Police Clearance from Saudi Arabia. It was a little quick than expected. We were asked by Saudi Embassy, Washington DC, to send our fingerprints, copies of passport, Iqqama (work permit ), copies of work contract. But we did not have the work permit with us - I guess that was OK with the Saudi Embassy. We were not charged any service charges towards this. Within 45 days we got the Police Clearance - of course it was in Arabic - which I got translated from one of my friends - things seemed fine.

Hi Masood - thank you very much for your tips in this regard. We acted accordingly to build records, but in the process got the work done.

Just wanted to share this with everybody.

Hi,

We did get our Saudi Police Clearance at no cost.....but to be on the safer side we were asked to get the translation done (as the clearance was given in Arabic). This was not a requirement though. We were just cautioned due to this there should not be a delay ... so got the translation done.

Just wanted to give an update.

Hi UMARAVI and others -

I looked at the post that your wrote indicating that you have obtained the
Police Clearance from Saudi Embassy, Washington DC.
Could you pleasea dvise on the documents required to send to the embassy -

- fingerprints (where was this obtained and who issues this? could you please advise the process)

- Also - I do not have an Iqqama (work permit) as my father was issued the iqqama and the family was on his iqqama. I was a student and single.

Thanks. Your response is very much appreciated as only few days are assigned by Buffalo to send these document.
