Others,
I think that the OP has made up his mind to come to Canada. So let us welcome him and his money.
My only concern would be as mentioned above (if nursing with B Sc done in India is recogonized in India). Other than that he should be fine. If we do not welcome immigrants, then who will pay for our welfare, EI, Second carrer, CPP, old age pensions etc.. Also who will baby sit your kids for $ 3 an hour or who will work at Tim/ McD and who will clean the toilets there?
To the OP:
I applied alone to CIC.gc.ca. I did not go to an agent. It is not rocket science.

1. Extreme cold weather for 5 months in a year and few more months of rain , Its depressive .
2. Jobs are not easy compare to gulf .
3. Far from India and Indian culture .
4. Less Saving .
5. Western culture effect to children .
It is true large extent. But similar problems or added problems are there in many other places too ...
1. Extreme cold weather for 5 months in a year and few more months of rain , Its depressive .
Similarly, extreme heat conditions prevail in many places in India, gulf etc., I know people in India (who can afford) goes to cooler places in summer. Similarly in Canada people who can afford, move to warmer places during winter season.
2. Jobs are not easy compare to gulf .
TRUE in some fields.
3. Far from India and Indian culture .
Distance ... it is TRUE. particularly the longer travel is a pain from Canada. Culture ..... much can be argued.
4. Less Saving .
It depends on many things mainly what you do and your attitude. I know people who saves lot of money (unofficially) in Canada. One plumber ( also does some home renovations too) known to me for quite some time came to Canada with almost nothing (10 years back) ... and now he is a millionaire with ( has two girl friends) having properties/investments in Canada and outside of Canada.
5. Western culture effect to children .
Totally disagree. During my frequent visits to India, I realized it is much worse in India than in Canada.

Gurram,
while it is the right of the individual to choose, if to come or not, I will not accept point no 5 that you have stated.
Just read yesterday's toronto star where the Mayor of this city (about 3 to 6 months back) goes to his home to take a joint with 2 of his friends and his wife reneta is lying on the couch and smoking a joint herself. the mayor says that the children are not there and goes to his closet where he keeps his footbak jerkin, the pocket of which he generally keeps his drugs. he find that his wife has taken it and goes on to ask the 2 other people to f++k his wife ... and the rant goes on.
I am of the opinion that you have not researched about Gora's. Many Gora's are like this. They take drugs, booze, donot care about children etc...
However Desi's here lead a clean life but children have to cross Gora's lifestyle.
Peace
Murali Krishna.

TK: Every once in a while, you throw amazing "nuggets of wisdom" like above. :-)
In your view, Mayor Ford symbolizes everything about western culture and family relationships?
I would like to put you in touch with some of my Canadian colleagues who think that the recent incidents of rape, Arushi, honor killings etc represent Desi culture. It will be a interesting discussion. :-)

-------
First and foremost, you MUST have very good COMMAND OF THE LANGUAGE and other Skills. It is indicated in the Immigration Portals. The next is to see if you can get into Canada and be as successful as you are there in the KUWAIT region. All of this has to be done by YOU and your WIFE and of course since you are doing this for the family, it shows how concerned you are about it.
Canada is an extremely huge country and it is sparcely populated and it is spread out in patches. Also you do not know where you want to get settled. Most of Candada experiences EXTREME cold for about Five months of the year. Everyone is worried that you might not like it. Each and everyone points out to you a valid doubt or more for you to EVALUATE. Not to disregard, TK's curve balls also. He is full of beans and will make his presence felt till he reaches his next destination. And no one is going to show up here and post how s/he got into Canada. But we all are here to help you STEP by STEP and save you a few bucks along the way to make it more pleasurable and land here amidst us and enjoy the Canadian way of life, in your own style and make it a successful one for yourself and your family.
There are a lot of harships that one experiences and if and when you do come across any difficulty, whether it be in the Gulf or in Canada, see if we can sort it out from this distance and the solution we provide helps you to overcome the difficulties that you experience.
TO START YOU OFF... THERE IS A HUGE DEMAND FOR NURSES AND THOSE WHO ARE IN THAT FIELD.
So, there is no need to fear about finding a job. Also there are jobs that bridge that profession and needless to say, you will find good employment for your wife, after landing here, right from the start. You sort out your life and get settled in a very nice place and carry on successfully after that.
Learn to speak, read, write and hold a conversation and get QUALIFIED as required to get into an occupation. Some are Regulated and so see what is required to get such a registration prior to arrival here. Also obtain all the materials with questions and answers and the locatiom where she has to go to get such an education and find suitable employment. That is Preparation prior to arrival. That is spade work. Since we do not know you or your qualifications etc., we can only guide you to a certain point and see if you have any more needs after you get there.
So, first GET IELTS general module and get through the same successfully.
Then, here are the other websites that will walk you through a few of the other answers to which you will have questions. So, some of the answers are already provided to you, because I know enough about you already. How is that for help..!!
Here is a web link to Regulated Professions in Ontario. It will help you..

Here are some of the earlier discussions and the responses from the knowledgeable people. You can also ask away your questions and expect to hear a nice response to it. Also, since you are preparing to come here, it will get you on to a better footing.

THEY SAY THAT THEY ARE CLOSE BY WHERE YOU ARE CURRENTLY. So, email and ask for their location and get to meet with them in person and get to know everything that you want to know from them. Then decide if it is suitable to your liking and then move to Canada. Then see how well you can plan it and get a good placement here right from the start.

Hope this will answer a few of your questions you wanted to ask. Make notes and get organized.
Continue under this with your questions and any doubts that you may have and some one will answer with the right response.
Others have also asked you a few questions, and you should try to respond to them respectfully and that will get others to respond back with very good answers. This is a two way street. So, be nice to everyone. IT PAYS.
