As the title suggest i have some Canadian dollar and i would like to have Indian Rupee in Exchange.For details please email me at

Pls don't advice me to go to bank and get it exchanged,I know that.

If you can come to Salem, Tamil Nadu, I am ready to give you Indian Rupees at Rs. 48 for 1 CAD.

Nope, I was not joking.
This is not the world where you would be granted US$20 by the Indian govt., should you show them that you have a visa to travel overseas. Those days are long over.
The west is suffering from terrible recession. Indian currency is weak but in unlimited supply.
Indians now are offered unlimited USD or CAD access by the Govt. of India, should they decide that they want foreign exchange. I disburse tens of thousands of USD every day to our consultants in USA. We should thank the IT boom/Gulf workers for this (for making foreign exchange freely available).
I was trying to do you a favour by giving Rs 48 for 1 CAD. If someone is giving you more, please feel free to use that person or the bank.
Rs. 50 for 1 USD is the cash rate here in Tamil Nadu. Hope you are aware that all undocumented transactions are hawala transactions.

Today's (13-Nov-2012) SBI Canada's official rate is

1 USD = Rs 53.80
1 CND = Rs 53.86

Seems like your bank in Tamil Nadu is not up-to-date with the rates too.

Keep in mind hawala transactions always gets you a better rate.

You misread / misinterpreted my post.
What I had posted was for unofficial transactions.
Bank rates are available as : $ 5 to $2000 for each USD = Rs. 54.19 (as on 12/11/2012)
At least in Salem, TN, India, Hawala rates are lesser than the bank rates. That is the rate that I posted about.
