I am also like thousands of desi's who applied for PR and waiting like fools for years......I remember when I was in school, we learned about Gandhiji, he went on hunger strike to oppose rules and regulations imposed by British Govt. and it worked!!!!...so what I think is.....we also should follow Mr Ghandhi's step of going on hunger strike......we have responsibilities towards our parents and we must give sacrifice for our parents.

I am confident that Ghandiji's step worked so if couple of us goes on hunger strike why it will not work?

I have applied for my mother's PR file in Dec 2007 and still waiting, so if I get support from desi brothers and sisters for going on hunger strike I will be first to go on hunger strike
