We,family of four abandoned our PR and our PR Card also expired.
I am visiting USA now and my question is whether I can get visit visa to see friends in Canada?

You can apply for a visa. Whether or not you will get it is upto the issuing office and the officer. They certainly can view your history and will have few questions for you in that regard.

If you can share with us when did you abandon your PR and where are you now ?.
Just curious the reason also being the list seems to be growing:
TK, RAMAR 2005, KUMAR, BOMBAMMA and now SUBA.
I don't how many more are there whose name does nit figure in this list.
The CONSERVATIVE's currently wants to get rid of nearly a million applicants who had applied between 2004 to 2008 and bring in new criteria for admission.
There is a major class action lawsuit waiting to happen between eager immigrant applicants and the government.
While there is a trail of returnees after immigration and some of them abandoning their PR cards.
Just curios.

2. Looser in home country but successful at new place.
3. Successful at home country as well as at new place.
4. Looser at both places.
