Dear Massoodji,

You had answered my previous query that if my daughter looses her PR status if being out of Canada due to her studies in India, we as parents based in Canada as PRs can appeal or we can sponsor her an a dependant child.

What is the procedure for sponsoring a dependant daughter to Canada after she looses her PR status. I am more interested in the time factor.

She will be a sponsorable dependantif she is under 22. Iif she is over 22, she has to be in full-time continuous education in a government recognised institution in the country where she is studying.

Processing time is approx. 6 months.
