We have bought a house and have got the mortgage approval. The closing date is still a few months away. I have a couple of related questions:

- Can I/my spouse, change jobs between now & the closing date? Would it affect my mortgage (due to prohibition period etc.)

- Do we need to inform my mortgage broker/bank about the job switch, in case I do change the job ?

- Would there be a new mortgage approval process in that case (switching to a new job) or the earlier mortgage approval will still stand ?

It all depends upon the conditions on which mortgage has been approved. If job conditions has been cleared,then you don't have to worry about.

By law you are supposed to inform your lender about any change occurs in your employment.
