Secure LOC - should i get it.

I have good amount of $ in my RRSP account and heard from a friend that i should get a secure LOC against my RRSP. Is this advisable ? I do not use a lot of credit though and will use my RRSP for HBP soon - but is it smart for me to get a secure LOC now when i have RRSP's in there. Please share Thanks
