Hi,
My daughter is Canada Citizen and her passport is getting expired by 12th Sep, 2010 and currently she is in Canada. How many days prior expiration of passport, we should be applying for renewal? Can we apply after expiration of passport also? What are the issues?

I think it is 6 months prior and 1 year after (without any signature of guarantor). There is no stipulation of after but more questions will be asked if delayed longer.
