I am likely to get a PR visa soon. I had shown Canadian $18,000/- as funds to be transferred. My friend staying in Canada says that he can send me a demand draft for partial amount which I can carry with me when I travel to Canada & show it at the time of entry. The balance amount I will carry with me either in cash or DD or traveller's cheque.

Is this ok?
