This is about inspect and report on the physical condition of the various system of the home including the roof, exterior, foundation, plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, interiors and insulation.

Home inspection involves the assessment of the condition of residential and light commercial buildings. It is a unique discipline, being distinct from construction, engineering, architectural or municipal building inspection, requiring its own set of professional guidelines and qualifications.
The Home Inspection Certificate program focuses on developing the skills and knowledge required to work as a home inspector.

thanks

see link above. This organization (and many others in GTA) provide training for certified energy auditor. It cost somewhere between 1500-2000$ of training and instrument, but you have to commit to stick to them for one year or so.

This is not same as Home inspector though, considering money and time consumption its attractive. Also Ontario government is keen to encourage energy saving ideas.

You can call any real estate agent you know or call someone from the forum like Rajeev, Amit, etc. They deal with home inspectors everyday.
