One of our friend is being laid off from work due to restructuring...and offered a sevarance package...the employer gave an option if he / she wants it or wants emplyer to put directly in RRSP (that way save on tax )...emplyer will give without tax deduciton...
i know it is individuals choice to put in rrsp depending if they need $ or not...still are there any other implcations to consider....?
also consideirng todays market it may not be a good idea to invest in rrsp ??
Instead of asking this question here I would suggest to seek advise from a lawyer, they are the best ppl to consult for these situations.
