iam going to INDIA nxt month i would like to shop few stuff in which u guys can help me iam planning to buy blood pressure monitor kit & blood sugar monitor kit which brand is good.i wanna buy choclates in bulk that doesn't melt which store is best to shop. thanks in advance

But anyway, I found Wal*Mart to be good for both of these.
The BP monitors range between $30 for low end to upto $120 for high end.
The sugar monitors are cheaper, however, the test strips and lanchets is what's expensive and how the company makes real $$$.
These things are competetively priced at Wal*Mart.
They also have a wide variety of chocolates and usually there are good deals going on (esp. around holiday times) for good quality chocolate.
If you don't care about brand and packaging, the Bulk Barn is good and cheaper.
Most pre-packaged chocolates won't melt in this weather or in transit because they contain hydrogenated oils.
However, once you get to India in July, these will melt pretty fast so put them in the refrigerator as soon as you get home from the airport.

I found "OMRON" brand to be extremely reliable and accurate as compared to the devices made by popular electronic brands like sharp, hitachi, etc

Date: Started June 11th for 18 days (that's how it is in the flyer)

Another place for Chocolates is on Birchmount Rd, just N of Lawrence, on the West side. It is open only on Thu from 9am to 4pm. There is a big sign in front of the bldg.

I am using Omron T790, it is a nice monitor and can be connected to PC to download all the data. Bought from Shopper for $140+tax. It is always better to check the accuracy of the monitor with your doctor. Thats what I did and and found out this monitor was giving 10 point higher reading on Sys and Dia pressures. Once you know how off it is thn it would be easier to calculate the correct pressure.
All these monitors (low end to high end) can not be treated as accurate as professional monitors. So always check with your doctor.
