I used to listen to Desh Pardesh (I forgot the program name on AM530 between 4 and 6PM) BUT I noticed that if any hindi speaking person used to call the host, he always used to greet him with Sat Sri Akal. I believe there is misconception that all Punjabis are Sikhs. There are more Punjabi Hindus in Toronto then Sikhs. For last few months I switched to 101.3 FM.

We can always critisise but we cant make it better?
whats wrong in saying sat sri akaal, this is not india where you guys are dominationg minorities.by forcing hindi everywhere. how much hindutva is created within last 1500 years worldwide? how many hindus knew about canada 15 years back?
Sikhs are the ones who came to canada from india first. they have their 3 generations here.
Whatever sikhs have done so far is the result.
Punjabi is the third largest spoken language in canada not hindi.
So dont try to even think that hindi or hinduism will be in canada. never never never.
Most of the hindus have learnt punjabi after coming to canada.
i am a clean shaved sikh(which you hindus think a hindu)NO.
Hindus can only rule india not anywhere else, they can only ring temple bells and dance in front of their gods and godess and claim that they r the best.
to be honest India is behind because of hindus and hindutwa mentality.
if its not enough? talk to me and i,ll tell you guys alot more.

Define "behind" and explain why India is "behind" due to Hindu mentality? Remember, Hindus can be equally offended when their believes are ridiculed, as much as the Sikhs, Muslims and Christians
