Exactly and everybody in Canada do not reside in Toronto or near to Passport Office. So, it is a normal demand to post original documents. There is nothing to fear about, more important is to get the work done.
My comment was for the original statement, "It is a flawed process
". Clear statement should be, I do not trust Indian Commission with my PR card. Anyway my point is, every government office require original documents to issue Passport which is a very important proof of citizenship.-----------------------------------------------------------------
