Hi Friends,
I am coming to Vancouver on 29th Feb for few days to visit on my vacation to go see different places, in near future I am planning to move to Vancouver can someone help me or guide me regarding job market, rent for apartment and good place to stay, also if someone can give me their contact numbers I would like to meet some of you guys just to be friends and enjoy the vacation by getting to know more about Vancouver, someone please reply and would greatly appreciate your reply.

Good Morning,
Please advise if there are jobs in Customer Service field as I have about 4 - 5 years experience in this field. Also how about car insurance is it higher or lower than Ontario can you give me approximate annual rate for car insurance and idea about rent in your area?

Parag, there are many jobs in customer service in Metro Vancouver. If you are looking for call centre jobs, there are plenty, particularly if you have 4-5 years experience.

Car insurance will probably be little higher than Ontario, but is it a very important issue for you.

Rent depends on location. For one bedroom apartment in Vancouver/Burnaby can cost you around $750-$900 plus in average location. Surrey is little bit cheaper.

Thanks a lot Ash20 & weldall for all the great info and I also got an email from weldall with contact info i will definitely call you once I am in Vancouver, I am coming there for few days for vacation arriving on 29th Feb and returning back to Toronto on 5th March, will be great to meet up for coffe or so, i hate this weather down here, today Toronto is going thru severe snow storm about 20 cms of heavy snow falling with freezing rain and ice pallets so it would be great if i can move to Vancouver, stay in touch guys.
