Hello CD's,
This is going to be a tricky one. I was here on a student visa converted to a Grad work permit, which expired in oct'05. until then, for abt 1.5 yrs i was working as a jr. web designer(co-op + 1 yr grad work permit) . Since my grad work permit expired, by employer couldn't keep me engaged at work. Then i did what anyone would do, applied for a Student Visa to keep my status active and legit in Canada. That was in Oct'05. I then got my Landed Immigration status in August'06, which is when i decided to go back to India, had a 4 month long vacation ..
Anyway, my point being. How do i explain the gap from 10/2005 - now(04-2007). I could show false experience, and risk the chance of getting caught in my own woven web, OR i could be honest and explain the story t the employer. I wanna come clean in the end. Don't wanna have sleepless nights worrying abt the lies on the resume ..
So, help me guys.

Hiren is right.
Here we dont care abt the gap/ absence, etc. As long as we see the experience, that all we need. Does not matter whether the person took time off, to study, vacation, etc. If the person has the exp., he/she gets the chance. Agreed, there are some monkeys (I mean managers) who go by month to month on the resume. As I have observed, majority go with the exp., not the gap, etc.
