Hi
This question is especially intended for Mr. Masood , but anybody’s feed back to solve my mystery will be much appreciated as I really need help from any one who is in position to help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a Canadian PR Card Holder, in addition to US green card which I got later. I got married last year and sponsored my wife to Canada. It’s been almost 8 months since she has come to Canada.
Her last name in Passport as well as on P. R. Card is still what she had before Marriage (not changed yet). I am planning to call her to US on Visitor Visa (B2 type) but there is some confusion regarding the “*Information I have to fill in Form DS-156”*
CONFUSIONS
1, “* Should we mention in the form that she is Married to me (US Green Card Holder)? *” as we don’t have to if we don’t want to because she is not using my last name. (Question 17 in form) or US Embassy can find out how she has come to Canada and became PR Card Holder
2, Say If we mention that she is married, then do we really have to mention that her husband is in US and holds a Green card or just say he is in Canada or any thing ( Question 37 in form).
Confusion part is what exactly I should say so that “her chances of getting visitor VISA will not be reduced”. And most important in future when I file for her US Green card, US Immigration should not reject her case by saying that I did some kind of FRAUD by pulling her record (which I don’t know they can and if yes then they will or not) and saying that you didn’t mention in your visa application form that your husband was in US at that time.
I don’t want to hide or misrepresent any thing if I don’t have to as nothing can change the fact that I married to her only and it’s a real marriage , but all I want that “* she should not be refused for her visitor visa’* and “*She will not face any US immigration problem in future ( may be after 3 to 4 years when I will become Citizen) because of kind of information I am going to provide in form now”*
I am really relying on our desi group to help me with this situation in order to start my married life. And yeah I do realize now why people not to sail in two boats at a time, or not to create situation which you can’t handle yourself but I think it’s too for me now.
Please Help me …………..
Thank you all in advance.

She has to inform in the DS-156, tab 37, and if is she is going to say no at the tab when she will be going for her US GC interview it could make her trouble,
There is chance of rejection visitor visa, on the base of immigration intention, but at the US Consulate at Toronto, all VO are very nice and if you tell them truth, chance to get visa is higher than if you try to hide something.
Best luck!
