Scotch with soda and on rocks is permitted, right. It is a really cold drink.

Excellent choice! Are you an oenophile?

Hey, that sounds disgusting so let's make it wine-lover, wine appreciater, or just plain into wine.
What grape variety? Merlot, Cabernet or in the whites Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Zinfandel...
Do you like rose? My fave is a cheap Portuguese wine- Mateus Rose.

Maybe you're into regional stuff- Bordeaux, Beaujolais, Rioja...

I'm definately a lover...wine lover that is.

My experience in drinking red wine has so far led me to a deep appreciation of Aussie wines. I prefer the shiraz varieties and shiraz/cabernet mix too. I suppose my faves so far are the Wolf Blass, Yellow tail series (all of them, including the merlot which I tend to find quite strong in other brands) and I recently discovered Penfolds.

When I went to Paris, I drank Bordeaux and Beaujolias and they have a really different flavour altogether...something I had to get used to at first, but after the first glass... it went down more smoothly

What about you - any recommendations you can make or anyone else for that matter?

I really like the Ontario wines too, Pelee Island, Jackson Triggs and Peller Estates are the ones I've tried.
