A college lecturer filing a PIL in Mumbai has led to the information and broadcasting ministry yanking adult content from television across the country.

Instead of putting such stupid bans, why can't we have adult programming after 9 PM - same as we have here in Canada? Also, most of the programming will have warning written as well as spoken. The rating also appears at the commencement of programme.

It is a hypocrisy when we ban adult content on TV, but let kids walk in R-rated movies. We need to have atleast one wet-saree song in every movie Who cares about A-certificate these days?
