My company a major wireless company in GTA is looking for some Sr Java Developer with 4-5 years experience. Ideally the company would look at people with couple of years of canadian experience.

This is a 6 month contract job with the possiblity of extension. I am not a recruiter, but posting an internal opening in the company, I just wanted to help some desis out there.


Here are the details:

Duties & Responsibilities

· Work as part of a team to build, and deploy leading edge scalable, and reliable Web-based Applications.

· Create and recommend infrastructures, processes, deployment plans, and resource estimates while leveraging technologies which best fit the task(s) at hand.

Professional Requirements

· A solid foundation and knowledge of J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, EJB, JMS) and the Eclipse IDE.

· A strong understanding of development issues such as scalability, reliability, etc.

· An understanding of Object Oriented (OO) design practices.

· Experience with user interface design and application development tools (HTML, DHTML, CSS).

· Familiarity with database, network, Java, and platform issues; including knowledge of SQL and RDBMS.

· Ability to prioritize issues, drive projects forward, and meet deadlines.

· Capable of communicating with all levels of application stakeholders.

· Experience with application servers, XML, JSF, SOAP, Spring, Hibernate and Struts is an asset.
