Hi Friends,
I have applied for Canada Immigration from New Delhi, India.

After completion of Medical, I have sent my passport along with
my wife´s passport for stamping on June 20th, 2005.

I got receipt of Landing fees in Next month but
still i m waiting for passports with visa.

I have heard from Forums that now their quota for this year is over and they will
issue visa in Jan 2006, is it true ?

Actually I need visa because I have to travel to US also on behalf of my company.
As i m having 10 years US Business Visa also.

Now what should i do to get my Passport at earliest ?
I need it because i have to do my future plannings as well, so i need it at earliest.

So is it True about Quota ? if yes then what should i do to get my passport back with
Canada Immegration Visa ?

Wouldn't it be better to ask the concerned authorities through email or phone rather than mere speculation? Or just waiting for things to happen? Because after all, New Delhi authorities at the Consulate would know the best about quotas et al.
No matter what many have to say, New Delhi have always, i repeat, always replied the e mail queries if it is more than a simple querry of waiting time or status. I am telling from my personal experience.

Ya, I have alreay sent a Fax for inquiry before one month before no reply.
And i was not knowing that they do reply Email inquiry also.
Really thanks for your information.

But I donot know Canadian High Commission, New Delhi Email, Can you give me Email where I can send my inquiry for this ? I couldnt found it on its website.
that will really help me.

Hi Buddy,

Could you please let us know the time frame of your application. My application started processing on Aug 2002. I have completed all the formalities including IELTS. Eventhough none of the mail from CHC - New Delhi.

Bhishma,

That's how people call others here specially their friends & some other people here.

This is the Canadian way. So learn adjusting to it.

Ofcourse not all would address you this way. Some are really very polite.
