Dear Faisal,

HSMP is meant for working in the UK which is a 'booming' economy when compared with Canada . Also HSMP is extremely tough and the rejection rate is pretty high .An average HSMP holder is much above in terms of accomplishments and credentials as compared to an average Canadian Immigrant .

To get a hang on the thing kindly follow the url

Manasvi.

PS : However u wud always b an alien in the UK as against Canada even after 2 decades .........

Yesterday, I was going thru the selection criteria for UK, and Australia, and observed that their crieria is much more selective (than the Canadian criteria) and they seem to know and "understand" who they really want to get into their country.

But, notwithstanding all of their efforts to "understand" who is coming into their country, you still hear comments of this nature......read on

http://www.hsmp-services.co.uk/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=812

Some excerpts
"Soory !!!! UK has no jobs to offer. My resume was impressive but no company have job suitable for me. I am overqualified."

Sound familiar?

Quite true Faisal,

Australia had IT on their demand list till 2004 .Now its no longer there .
Accountants has reappeared on the demand list in 2005 after a gap of 2 years ...... They keep on updating their status and points are slightly more difficult to get .

As per HSMP its very difficult 2 get thru with the kind of sal they ask for and the dismal success rate (16% for Indians )

Manasvi.
