There is a cricket pitch at finch and goreway area.
When you drive on finch, west of finch & kipling intersection it is first left turn. You can see cricket ground on the left side of the road. Try that ground for your match.

There is full cricket ground at Dufferin and Hwy 7 and I have seen regular cricket being played during summers every weekend. If people are comfortable with the location, we can find more about it.

For those commuing by car, it should be very comfortable drive on Hwy 7 (or 407), while those commuting by public transit can reach Downsview subway and take a direct bus on Dufferin which would drop them right in front of the ground or within 100 mtrs or so.

Now that we have enough people to make 2 teams , we should finalize the dates as in summers generally people tend to be more busy.. Is it still June 11th/12th ?

Thanks for the great contribution by all of us;For ground i feel the deciding factor will be cost and availablity rather than location.So we should find the cost and availability and decide cost per person and go from there.

Dates will be June 12 ;18 or 19 subject to weather condition and ground availability and unless large chunk of people cant make it on that day.

Some people had also suggested to raise the cost for the event and include food in the itinery;wats the general opinion?

I also think that we should collect the cost from people in advance so that no one has to contribute upfront and it shows more commitment on part of the participants.

I have a few mode of payments in my mind which was a challenge on some earlier events; i will discuss them at the right point in time.
