I have seen links to other wesites in CD's signatures. That's why I'm adding mine too. If admins say it's not allowed, I will remove it.

For one , can you please cite a few examples .

For two , there's a difference in putting something in a signature through the settings and pasting that something in every post.

Anyways - I agree the mods can decide whether this constitutes promoting on charcha and if they are good with that ..I thought charcha was not meant for covert promotion.

Hey BangaloreGirl,

It is good that you are developing a website. Please be sure that we, as admins are not against you asking for opinion of fellow CDs.

However promoting your site directly or indirectly is prohibited here. We have a Private message feature on the site and you can use it, if someone shows interest in knowing more about your site.

Also point to other signatures having such promotion. We may have some exception to members who have cross thousands of post (and thus devoted their valued time on this site), but they are just few exceptions.

Now my opinion about any food recipe site. There are tons of it. What difference do you want to bring?

BTW, in charcha to we have a section for Rasoi! You can also contribute there.
