Chaps,
I know Brampton is declared as worst place in terms of road accidents. I am sure people Driving skill & rush have contributed to it. But sometimes I feel, road design layout also contribute On road accidents. One such place I could recognize is AIRPORT ROAD & Bovaird transaction. I always
Noticed, a accident on that location. What I feel is When we drive on bovaird drive approaching airport road from West. Out of the three roads
One road suddenly becomes RIGHT ONLY LANE. Without being option to keep moving straight. Thus people Are forces to make split time decisions to jump to left lane or Break or Get Confused. No wonder Accident happen at exact same spot. Perhaps by re arranging a layout to let give option of third
Right most lane to let it go straight and while on the move give people option to joins two lane road. Accidents will happen less.
Now I wonder where to put a petition or something for the authority to look into this case

Have never done this before, but you can start with :
http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/feedback/rsm.shtml

http://www.brampton.ca/en/residents/Roads/engineering-construction/Pages/engineering-design-standard-drawings.aspx

Speak to your local councillor and MPP's office. I am not sure if it falls under the city of brampton or under MTO, calling any one of the above offices might give you some information.

It falls under the City (of Brampton). You have to start with your lcoal councillor. They will conduct a study and if they find it warrants a change, then it gets put in a hooper and priortized with all the the changes requested within the city.

This is the response I got from my Councillor when we requested speed bumps in front of a school. The study proved that people were speeding excessively, but our request was way down in the priority list.

I'd suggest make a petition and submit it to your Councillor and start off from there.

Good luck...

Sorry. I beg to differ. it should be North America instead of Canada.

Call Brampton City office and explain the situation. I reported a similar situation near my residence and city changed the stop sign to traffic signal within few weeks. You just need to make a call to start the process.
