Hello,

I am about to apply for immigration under pharmacist category. My category has already accepted 717 files, so I would really appreciate prompt help.

I have done Master of Pharmacy (full time) degree. After completing the degree I have 2 years of work experience + 1 year as part time during Master of pharmacy degree. Including other criteria of IELTS, age factor etc, I am scoring 66 points in total.

I am lacking 1 point only. Now, if I show full time work during my Master of pharmacy degree education, I get 68 points because 4 years experience will get me 21 points.

My college was from 8 am to 3 pm. I can show college letter to prove this. I am planning to show that I was working from 5 pm to 11 pm mon-saturday. It was possible because I was working at a pharmacy shop which remains open at night also.

Is it okay to show full time experience with full time education? will this be acceptable???

please guide me with your expert opinion

Thanks

You can not claim points for two factors at the same time. However you can include one factor as a part-time whiile showing one for full-time. Hope you got my point.

@ Gurram,

Thank you for your opinion. Even I have the same opinion. But these agents are so much money oriented. He was pushing me for this and was justifying that he will claim for both the points at the same time..

Thank you once again.

Satbeer:

You can always show more part-time experience safely to increase your points.

You may also think of doing some basic french to get 2 more points. It is not difficult to learn in few months and it will also help you for your career in Canada.
