Predictable long-term pattern changes in national income. Traditional business cycles undergo four stages: expansion, prosperity, contraction, and recession. After a recessionary phase, the expansionary phase can start again. The phases of the business cycle are characterized by changing employment, industrial productivity, and interest rates. Some economists believe that stock price trends precede business cycle stages.

Wages are less productivity is more in US exactly opposie in India/China. India/China already enjoying expansion and prosperity phase and very well heading towards contraction. Whereas for US this could be the time. Once in a decade opportunity!

So chouce is yours! invest in US now or in India.

I'll take my chances in investing in NA. There are only 3 things that could happen according to my simple mind - end of world in 2012, dollar down to dumps and everybody bankrupt or prosperity :)

Since u r living in Windsor, what are ur opinions (Having knowledge of investment) if I buy a house in Windsor and rent it out. Will it be a good investment in the long run if I make down payment upto 50%?

I would recommend against it. While you can buy houses cheap right now in Windsor, there is a glut of vacant properties and a horde of very bad potential tenants. This is mostly due to soaring unemployment.

I have a duplex in the downtown area and have had it since 2002. I just evicted the tenant after a 4 month back and forth crap. When I was at the court or rather the Landlord and Tenant Board hearing, it was amazing to see the number of evictions that were going on with only 2 tenants showing up. Most of them don't care when they have nothing to lose and that would end up with the premises trashed and such.

Also, when I was looking for a tenant, all sorts of shady characters were interested in leasing and when I finally found one, it ended up in another mess with an eviction.

Thanks for the suggestion
