Hello - I have applied for the authentication of my driving license at Consulate General of India in Vancouver. They have replied me that this process has been discontinued. I wonder is there any other option to authenticate my License or is there any other way to proceed? Can any one help me with this query?
Yes, you're right. They have discontinued this service. I am not sure if you have tried this alternate way. You can directly go to the ICBC location with your Indian license when you have to appear for the test, or just drop in by to inquire what is needed. I have experienced people do the latter most of the time. I don't think they require authenticate foreign license here in BC. Please do this and come back to update us with the procedure, if you may.

what to do ? i am facing the same situation here in Alberta.
When i told the Registry people in here that i can get letter from Indian Authority that issued me the license, they told me that their SIU(Special Investigations Unit) is not going to approve that without getting it attested.
What can i do ?
