Exactly !!! Transfer the sticker in New one and you'll be fine. You gotta pay some $$$ to transfer. If you want to save some you carry old passport.
It is another story that this could have been avoided - but there must be a reason which we dont know.
It is not just only $$$ but u have to go through the same hassles (90%) of getting the new visa sticker as u originally got ur OCI like filling the forms online, getting the photographs etc...
I don't know why it is not as simple as dropping ur old passport and new passport at the counter and getting the new visa sticker on same day. It should be as quick as the normal visa issued on a foreign passport.

Agree. The only thing easy about new sticker is the $20 or $25 small fee. To get a new sticker on a child's new passport, one has to send the parents' documents as well, making it no easy on time and effort for the renewal.
