I need to go to dentist for a consultation in Mississauga but have no insurance. Do desi dentists make some special arrangements for people with no insurance. Can you suggest any good dentist that offers special payments arrangements or discounts ?
I actually need to book 3 appointments, 2 with insurance and one without.
Dr. Savita Chaudhry at Inslington & Albion offers some discount for people without Insurence. You can call her office & Check. More over, she is a good dentist.

Thanks, but I live in west-end mississauga near oakville and her office is pretty far. I'd prefer some dentist in west-end.

Till 2007 I regularly went to desi dentist on Hwy10&Dundas. He charged $120 for cleaning. And quoted some $1800 for wisdom tooth removal ( and then I stopped visiting him).
In 2006 I approached a dentist near Hwy10&Dundas. She was asian ( not desi ). I asked her for fees and told her frankly that I don't have any insurance and I'll pay cash for dental cleaning. She quoted approx $25. Yes, she did added that it depends, but most likely $25.
I'd suggest, honestly talk to the dentist. Tell your story. I, ethically, don't like them. But if you frankly tell the story, they will support.
Most likely, your 3rd visit will be covered in your first 2 visits.

There are a couple of dentist at 10 and dundas. Do you remember the name of the dentist?
My mother needs to see the dentist and its not for cleaning but for a root canal badly done by another dentist.

Can't recall the name. But it is located in the same building (or next to) as the cooksville branch library. It's on the ground floor. And NOT the desi dentist .. not the smile-by-design guy.

There are a couple of dentists in the cooksville branch library building and the building next to it and I am kinda surprised to see so many dentists in one location. There seems to be only one Chinese dentist. I hope he is the one. How Vincent
