Hi,
Is a medical test absolutely necessary for extension of visitor visa beyond 6 mths. Have there been cases where they have asked for no medical exam? Also, what all tests need to be taken for the medical test if they ask us to do one...cd's pls. help.

Compulsary ? We were not even asked to do it initially or later on during extension.
Dunno if there are special rules for age 65 +.
Well I recently i.e 3 -4 months ago got a extention for my mom and they requested a medical test to be done at one of the doctors which was on the the list of doctors they prescribe, it was a blood and urine test. She is younger than 65.
