Hi to all foodies out there....I have heard of this place which sells nendranga chips (banana chips) in bulk..so you have like bags of it at reasonable price. I don't know where it is any pointers would be greatly appreciated...also looking for some good, tried and tested place which sells souh indian namkeens like murukku, chidai etc etc. any help guys...where is the Peak Frean factory outlet heard that you get cookies at like throwaway prices..
Are u referring to a place in Scarborough called "The Nilgiri"
The nendranga chips manufacturer is Golden Banana . Refer the phone book for address and telephone book. it is somewhere in Markham

It would be much easier for CDs to guide you about these places if you disclose your location. You could be any where in Canada and it may not make much sense for you to visit these places to buy cheap/reasonalbly priced goods.
The Golden Banana Chips manufacturer is in Markham on 14th Ave. The name of the company is Vegetron. You can see the address from the Telephone Directory.
One Cookie (Ritz/Dad's Coookies) factory outlet is in Scarborough at the intersection of Brimley & Progress, close to Scarborough Town Centre. You can get cookies at a much discounted price here.
The South Indian Namkeen can be bought at any Tamil / Sri Lankan Grocery Store. One such store which sells stuff in wholesale prices is at Birchmount/Lawrence in Scarborough.

I believe the name was Suraby ( or Surabhy?) and it was on Birchmount Road some where between Lawrence and Eglinton. Do not know if it still is there.
There was another Sri Lankan / Tamil grocery store who used to deal in whole sale. It was at the interesection of Sheppard and Birchmount and the name was something like POOMBUGHAR or POOMBUHAR. Haven't visited these stores in ages and hence not 100% sure.
