Sadhguru is a spiritual master with a difference. An unusual blend of profundity and pragmatism, his life and work serve as a reminder that yoga is not an esoteric discipline from the outdated past, but a contemporary science, vitally relevant to our times. Founder of Isha Foundation and creator of the Inner Engineering program, Sadhguru was named one of India’s 50 most influential people. Through the Isha Foundation, Sadhguru has mobilized volunteers around the world into action in several outreach initiatives, including large-scale human service projects to help impoverished rural population, children’s education and record-breaking global greening projects in India. Through his scientifically-based Inner Engineering yoga program, millions of people globally of all ages, races and religions practice his methods to bring harmony to the body, mind, emotions and energy—leaving them naturally joyful and peaceful.

In the company of the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and other world spiritual leaders, Sadhguru also appeared in Bill Moyer’s 2008 PBS documentary film “Beyond Our Differences.” He is the author of over 50 books, the subject of four books and co-author of the Amazon bestseller “Midnights with the Mystic”.
