Gyana Yagna or ‘sacrifice of knowledge’ offered to us by spiritual teachers is an invaluable opportunity that none of us ought to waste. Swamiji, in his most eloquent way, will teach us the wisdom of the ancient scriptures in a way that is most relevant and applicable to us, right now. Dharma, Karma and the Power of Prayer is the theme of this one week lecture series. We invite each of you, with your families and friends to join us for the yagna and retreat.
Morning Lectures
Sadhana Panchakam - Guidance to Spiritual Practices
In five simple verses, Adi Shankaracharya enumerates forty steps towards discovering the divinity within. We are shown the ways and means to steadily raise our vision and enjoy the “peace that passeth all understanding”. Evening Lectures
Yoga Of Action And Knowledge - Bhagavad Geeta Chapter 4
Chapter 4 gives a practical application of the karma yoga attitude based on both the understanding of the higher principles as well as their practice in everyday life. It is a direct guide to growing spiritually.

Saturday Spiritual Retreat: THE POWER OF PRAYER
To fully understand the power of prayer, we need to know what prayer is, how to pray, the different types of prayers and what are the benefits of prayer.
Swamiji in his unique, inspiring manner will help us discover the role and power of prayer in our lives.
A spiritual retreat allows for a close and interactive session with the teacher. This intimate experience gives us an opportunity to understand the message and how it can be applied to our daily life with the guidance of a teacher.

Time: 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (includes lunch)
