1. Data Warehouse and Data Modeling Theory (20 hours);
2. Data Warehouse and ETL (Informatica) (20 hours)
3. Performance Management and Business Intelligence (Cognos) (20 hours)

Instructors:
1. Senior BI Consultant, over 13 years experience in Data Warehouse and Data Mart Projects, 15 years in IT industry.
(Who Teaches: Performance Management and Business Intelligence, Cognos)
2. CBIP, CDMP, Senior Data Architect, over 10 years experience in Data Warehouse. He was a Sr. Consultant in Financial Services practice of BearingPoint before joining the government. The job involved in a wide range of consulting assignments covering designing, prototyping, developing and troubleshooting OLTP databases and Decision Support Systems (i.e. Data marts and Data warehouses).

3. Enterprise Data Warehouse Analysis and ETL Developer, over 15 years experience in most aspects of Information Technology such Software Development, Database Administration, Systems and Business Analysis, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, INFORMATICA and DATASTAGE/COGNOS BI and Project Management from Consulting, Manufacturing and Public.

Overview
As human race stepped into the information age, information is power. Business today moves at the speed of information. Getting the right information into the right hands at the right time is essential. Companies leverage, exploit and maximize their information assets have a strategic advantage over their competitors.
As management of information becomes more crucial to business, information capture is not enough for business today, data quality and data analysis plays a critical role in ROI for business.
That is also why data warehouse plays an important role in IT industry. Business can halt the business development due to the impact of low economy, but they cannot stop the data collection and management at any time. In order to increase the competitive power, data analysis and prediction become the key factor to be the winner in competition. That is also why ETL and business intelligence are getting an undeniable position today.
Objectives
This course will provide the students the full picture of data warehouse life cycle with practical examples and in depth knowledge. In addition, it covers the critical phases in building/developing Enterprise Data Warehouse such as Data Modeling using ERWIN, ETL design and development using INFORMATICA and Business Intelligence using COGNOS.
