The Town of Markham is a distinct and vibrant place, the largest of nine communities in York Region. The town employs 860 full-time permanent staff supported by part-time and temporary staff during peak seasons. The municipality hires staff to support the various services delivered to the public including development planning, building, infrastructure, parks and roads maintenance, by-law enforcement, recreation and culture, library, fire and emergency, etc. A career with the Town of Markham is packed with challenge, change and the opportunity to make a difference.
