| As per the objectives of our Temple’s constitution section 3 (e) "to work for the betterment for the members of the Society and to promote harmony, goodwill and better understanding among all other religious denominations", your Temple chairman Neeraj Lekhi and your priests, Pt. Sastry Ji, Pt. Kumbhare Ji, Pt. Swaminatham Ji are breaking new frontiers in our Greater Halifax community as founding members of the InterFaith Council of Halifax. In preparing our greater community for the new Millenium, they along with heads of other religious faiths have been meeting on a monthly basis, to develop a greater understanding and respect for each other’s faith. This action has resulted in an atmosphere of friendship, which will be passed on to our respective congregations |
