Here is the job description:
To provide mechanical engineering services associated with transmission projects. This includes:
expert knowledge with thermal processes;
special knowledge with regards to HVAC installations, fuel systems, compressed air, control systems, etc.;
special knowledge with regards to mechanical engineering;
knowledge of mechanical standards and codes.
Approximately 10 % of time will require field work.
The Engineer shall have a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and be registered with APEGBC.
Must have at least 8 years experience.
Must have substation experience,
Work shall be for a full time (hourly) six (6) month duration with option to renew in 6 month increments up to 24 months.
