I am in New Delhi and would be arriving in Canada on immigrant visa. I require about CAD 9500. I am planning to buy CAD 500 cash and rest TCs. Can anyone suggest from where to buy CAD TCs and currency. There are many money changers in Delhi and each have different rates. I inquired from ICICI Bank also. I have not enquired from nationalized banks like SBI though. From where to get the best rates?

I bought my cash and TCs from thomas cook, they gave me a really good rate. But you can also go to American Express.
