What are the best options for a new arrival to Canada, as what ever degree / experience you bring .. requires any Canadian Refrence..

1- Study in short term courses [ career related] in Community Colleges?
2-Study short term courses in Uni. of Toronto [ Continue Education Optoions]
3- For more specific certification like SAP, get training in SAP modules [ if yes.. which modules are good if one has experience and very good understand in Supply Chain Management .. MM or SCM or CRM or APO modules.. as I belive MM/SD there are lot many trained professional already.]

I would higly appreciate for valuable comments.

Thanks in advance

I would say "Luck Factor" plays big role. I am sure people here who are doing well would know know what I am talking about.

Answers to your questions

Question 1 & 2. Short term isn't really going to help in a big way. Yes taking up courses and then joning as a co-op does lead you to job in your field.

Question 3. Yes, IT certifications have value. I have been noticing that IT market is generally better than other fields. I have seen people getting jobs quickly with certification and experience from outside.

I hope this was helpful.
