I m new to canada. I have done M. com from Mumbai university and have computer skills too. I m very much interested in accountancy field so please tell me whether i should go for further STUDIES or FEW COURSES of accountancy in canada or it will be beneficial to JOIN CO-OPS of canada as i have heard they train in the particular field and help in getting job placement.

Upgrading your skills is always a good idea. As about joining a university for a degree or going in for a 'few courses', it all depends on your short and long term goals.
And what exactly do you mean by joining Co-ops? Co-ops are nothing but intern positions and most of the times, its a part of your program curriculum. You can't just go and join a co-op.
