Hello Friends,

My son just finished his 12 th grade with 90% of marks in India with biological sciences as major (biology,physics &chemistry) and he is very good at english language spoken&written.

We just got Permanent Residence (Canadian Green Card) in Canada and we are planning to move to some place in Canada before August´05.

My kid is very much interested in persuing
medicine in some Canadian Medical Schools and join in any 6 year medical programme.

I understand that the process of getting admission in to a medical school in Canada is very complicated and highly competetive and impossible for immigrants.

Does he have to write MCAT & TOEFL?

Could any of you on this forum through some light on this issue.Are there any student/immigrant guiding institutions/councelling centers to extend help
immigrants like us to get in to Canadian Medical Schools or as a matter of fact in to any academic institutions.

Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

i am also interested in persuing medicine in some medical schools and join in some six yr medical programme i am studying in india i want to get into some canadian school and join some 6 yr medical programme i completed my 12th standard with 90%marks in biology physics and chemistry .
we have got our immigration in canada recently so should i have to write the entrance exams like TOFEL orMCAT if yes where will i get the material for these exams .
