Has anybody watched the movie "Chutney Popcorn"? I had the misfortune of watching that complete movie. I ordered that movie on Rogers on Demand, thinking that this might be some cross over comedy movie like "Bend it like Beckham" or "Bollywood Hollywood".

But this is a movie about a lesbian, being a surrogate mother for her sister. This is an amateur movie, shot with meagre finances. Agreed, but it tests your patience. The dialogue and acting are equally bad, as is the photography. The back ground music hurts your ears.

Nobody seems to be interested in acting. Madhur Jaffery as an Indian lady having cultural shock, is totally misfit in the role. Some dude playing Sakina Jaffery's husband looks equally disgusting and badly needs a haircut. Swear words are unnecessary forced into the dialogues to show the "lesbian world".

It hurts to see my $3 going down the drain. Next time, I will stick with "Yaadon Ki Baraat" or "QSQT"

LOL....at least u lost only $3 that too canadian. I went to see premier in New York in 2000. Its pathetic movie from all angle. My sympathies to you!!

I thought Chutney Popcorn was some typo for Popcorn Khao, Mast Ho Jao but they are different movies! Both are not worth watching, I guess!
