Does any of the Desi kids make it to professional Basketball or Ice Hockey.
What are the chances for a 12 year old who has good potential in Basketball, Soccer and Long distance races to take up any of these as a profession?. Is there any consideration given on the basis of Sports and Games (similar to sports quota in India), when it comes to admissions to University of applying for a Job.

There are some universities that require a student profile to be completed when u apply for university.
But at the end of the day, it is only marks that matter for admission into any university.
Now sports as a profession. By profession do u mean NBA, NHL or just local teams. I have not seen a desi in the NBA or the NHL as yet.
