Hi Guys !!!

My Namaskar to all of You And KemCho to aapda gujju bhais in Canada.Currently i am working in a software firm in India and i am planing to do a MBA .Now the thng is i am confused whether to do MBA in US or Canada. MBA in US is very costly compared to canada , but the prob is thth i read all reviews on this site and found tht MBA ppl r doing all menial jobs . So now i am totaly confused plz help me!! is there ne1 who is doing MBA currenlty in Canada or has done it? plz shead some light on it cause now decision is bothering me alot.I amplnning to not come back after my MBA.

How u doin dude?..yes ur absolutely right...but lemme tell u even if u
are some big shot in ur country(dosent matter if its india or pakistan or watever) for the first few months u have to do low profilejobs
for survival , but as u settle down n get to know how the system works i dont think u wud have any problem findin a nice decent job if u persue ur MBA from canada so its better to study in the same country u wanna live..rest everything depends on ur destiny.....neways i have a friend doin MBA here.i wud ask him about job oppurtunities n stuff

one thing iforgot to tell u in my last post was that only UNIVERSITIES in canada have MBA no collge in ontario( acc to my knowledge) has MBA ... my frd is in windsor university.......n i v heard that best university for doin MBA in canada is waterloo(but u need to be extraordinary in academics) to get into waterloo.n the second best university for MBA iS
U OF T(University of toronto)...my frd in in second year n he already has a job in his field(buisness adminstrator)...n his compant ppl r sayin that they will hire him permanently after he completes his MBA

As to the original question by the poster - MBA in Canada or US?

Firstly, if you are having a decent s/w career in India - you really need to ask yourself, is it the right time to get an MBA now - with the way the job scarcity is at the present moment.
Secondly, you gotta figure out why do you need an MBA - run a self assessment or if he need help just surf the free resources out there in the net - Peterson's, MBA.org and such.
If its for career switch, makes sense! If its for career advancement at home or some place else, with a promise of good ROI, sure thing.

Last thing to check out would be to get into a fairly competitve school - NYU, Berkeley, Western Ontario, schools with good placemnt record and salary figures!
I would not come all the way to North America to go to Iowa State Univ or some small college in Canada!

Some through research footwork would makes things clear and help you get going in the right direction! And yes, try talking to people you know in current MBA programs, and if possible do go for the campus tours and school interviews as well!
