Include your contact information at the top of your resumé. After the heading include an Objective section such as 'Seeking Employment as a sales executive in a retail environment. You should always tailor your job objective and change it according to the job posting. In the employment history section include employer's full name, job title, dates, and a brief description of your responsibilities and achievements. Employers in Canada would need to know what qualifications such as City and Guilds, CSE or BTEC actually mean. Writing your diploma and then in brackets 'City and Guilds' would make more sense to Canadian employers. For example
Diploma (City and Guilds) Communications. Avoid using the word 'I'. Instead, use action verbs and keep it short and simple.
